Returning to the small lives matter theme, this is the third and final painting entitled "Even the Sparrow." The first two were very complex, but for this one, the goal was for something simpler and more atmospheric. It started as purely abstract, painted with a large flexible spatula. The shadowy eye in the background was purely accidental so deliberately not enhanced.
