Study of an unexpected guest spending time in the field by my brother’s house in Lake Country. This coyote mother was around for a few days, hunting for voles in the long grasses, with hungry pups somewhere nearby. She is a resilient survivor helping to keep the ecosystem in balance even here close to the hazards of human occupation.
